Buffalo Chicken Instant Pot Recipe

  • 2 large boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce


  1. Turn on sauté function on your Instant Pot.
  2. Add and heat the olive oil. Add the onion, salt and garlic. Stirring often, cook 2-3 minutes, or until translucent.
  3. Add your chicken and cook 2-3 minutes or until brown on both sides.
  4. Add chicken broth and hot sauce and stir.
  5. Lock the lid on your Instant Pot and set to high pressure and cook for 15 minutes. Release pressure naturally for 10 minutes and release remaining pressure.
  6. Shred chicken with a fork. Drain sauce and set aside.
