10 Father Son Bonding Activities
I’ve written in previous posts about how we all try to find balance our lives as parents. I want to make sure I have time to really be a great father while also keeping my own identity. Being involved in their school, doing fun activities around the house and going out on special dates with my daughter are all very important to me. But I also need to keep time to myself to do the things that keep me sane. I need to go have a beer with my friends, play my music or stay motivated to go to the gym.
The big challenge in find this proper balance is, of course, the lack of time we have in our days. Finding enough time for everyone’s needs can often seem like a losing battle. I have found it helpful to have a list of things that I want to do, not only for myself, but with my kids as well. Make this list and stick to it. Sometimes it is making sure I have time to sit and listen to a new album that is coming out. Or see a movie I’d really like to catch. But this also helps when spending time with your kids. I’ve looked around and found some great father son bonding activities that I’d like to try out. We will do of these a week for the next 10 weeks. No excuses. No exceptions. The next thing you know, we’ve made some really great memories together and have had a lot fun as well. So, here are 10 father son bonding activities to try out with your little man!
