Applesauce
You may think that applesauce is the an easy option for lunches and dinners. Yes, you can buy big jars of them in the grocery store. You can even get single-serving packs for even more convenience. But I have found that there is often so much sugar in this store-bought option. It was time to make our own homemade applesauce. We LOVE our Instant Pot pressure cooker in this our family. We cook so many different things in it, from Irish Stew to Red Beans and Rice. It was only a matter of tie before we decided to make Applesauce in an Instant Pot.
What is an Instant Pot?
If you haven’t caught onto the craze, an Instant Pot is a small electric kitchen appliance that cooks your food using pressurized air. This creates the ability to cook the food quicker and more consistently. Also, it locks all of the flavors in and you just about always get amazing results whatever you cook! The are incredibly affordable and you can cook just about anything in them. I think it works so much better than a traditional slow cooker.

I made this Instant Pot Applesauce with no added sugar at all. Just the sweetness of the apples and some natural, organic honey. The result is a sweet, slightly tart homemade taste that the whole family loved.
