I Can Never Get Enough Cajun Food
I’ve always been a huge fan of Cajun and creole food. We have a Cajun restaurant in my hometown that serves the best food in the world! I love their Jambalaya and their chicken Maque Choux. But one of their best dishes is their Red Beans and Rice. Every time I go there, I promise myself I will get something different, but always seem to end up ordering the Red Beans and Rice. There is something so simple yet delicious about this dish. For years, I’ve wanted to develop my own Red Beans and Rice recipe so that I don’t have to drive to my favorite restaurant to get it.
About one year ago, my wife and I got an Instant Pot. If you haven’t heard about the Instant Pot craze yet, the Instant Pot is a small electrical kitchen appliance. It cooks your food by using pressurized hot air. By doing this, it is able to cook everything much quicker with much more consistency. It also holds in the flavors and you almost always get fantastic results no matter what you make. If you would like to learn more about the Instant Pot, check out this fantastic guide to tell you everything you need to know. So, it was only a matter of time before I got the idea to create an Instant Pot Red Beans and Rice Recipe.
So, without further ado, here is my Instant Pot Red Beans and Rice Recipe!
