20 Great Summer Cocktail Recipes

My wife and I love to entertain at our home. We have a decent sized house but it is our backyard and our deck that really makes our home a perfect venue for gatherings. We live in the Midwest, so we can only make use of this outside space when the nicer weather moves in. So, we are always super pumped when summer rolls around and we can sit out there with our friends and family and enjoy the beautiful evenings. We love to try out new summer cocktail recipes on all of our guests.

Even when we don’t have parties at our house, I often like to just sit outside by myself, play my guitar and drink a nice cocktail. Often, I am simple Bourbon man. I pour a couple fingers worth of Bulleit Bourbon over a couple cubes of ice and I am ready to relax. But, when we do entertain guests, I find it important to have some other options on hand.

I am often trying to find cocktail recipes that are fun, easy and perfect for a summer’s evening out on our deck. I’ve looked around and compiled a list of some tasty summer alcoholic drinks that will keep all your guests cool during the summer.
