Just when you thought you knew every way there was to cook an egg, here comes a brand new idea! These Air Fryer eggs are so quick and easy, you’ll never eat eggs any other way again!
I eat A LOT of eggs. I work from home and I often need to whip myself up a quick lunch. Eggs are cheap, a good source of protein and I can make a pretty mean egg sandwich! I usually fry my eggs and, for the longest time, that has worked just fine.
What Is An Air Fryer?
I got an Air Fryer about 2 years ago. Since then, my catalogue of Air Fried recipes has steadily been growing. I started off with pretty traditional recipes like Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks and Air Fryer Onion Rings. See, the cool thing about an Air Fryer is that you can create dishes that taste just like “fried foods” but with very little (or no!) oil. The Air Fryer is small, easy to clean and easy to store. It cooks your food in basket by moving hot air all around it and the result is that trademark crispy outside and tender inside that you would get by frying it!
I have two different Air Fryers in my kitchen that I use. The first is called a Ninja Foodi. This is an an awesome invention because it does so many things besides just Air Frying, including Pressure Cooking.
I also have this Air Fryer from Black+Decker. It was my first Air Fryer and is a great one to start out on. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles but it is super affordable and works great!
What Else Can You Make In An Air Fryer?
Lately, I’ve been expanding my Air Fryer horizons and have started making different popular Asian cuisines, such as Air Fryer Cashew Chicken, Air Fryer Orange Chicken and Air Fryer General Tso’s Chicken.
Now, I’m thinking of other fun things that I make in an Air Fryer and, of course, it was only a matter of time before it occurred to me to make Air Fryer Eggs!
Air Fryer Eggs-What Do You Need?
I make all my eggs with basically the same four ingredients. They’ve always worked for me so I thought I’d stick with them when cooking eggs in the Air Fryer:
- Eggs
- Onion Salt
- Garlic Salt
- Cheese
Why Air Fryer Eggs?
You probably already have a favorite way to cook your eggs and that is TOTALLY fine. The reason I love to cook mine in the Air Fryer is that I can just sort of set it and forget it. When I’m cooking them on a stovetop, I’ve got to keep an eye on them so they don’t stick or burn and I’ve got to flip them. When hard boiling them, you’ve got to get them in the ice bath at the right time. With Air Fryer eggs, you just put them in there and let them do their thing!
I hope you enjoy these Air Fryer Eggs. Let me know how to they work out for you in the comments!
