LOOKING FOR MORE AIR FRYER RECIPES? CHECK OUT MY:
I have had my Air Fryer for about 6 months now and I’ve been having a blast trying out some new twists on some of my favorite foods. As I am getting older, those calories just aren’t shedding off like they used to. So I’m always looking for healthier ways to cook the dishes that I love. Last week, I made these Buffalo Cauliflower Bites to watch during the football game. I had no idea that Cauliflower could taste so good! I will definitely make those again!
What Is An Air Fryer?
Have you gotten to this page and aren’t sure what an Air Fryer is? Well, welcome! I’m glad that you’ve come. An Air Fryer is a small electrical kitchen appliance that cooks your food by circulating fast moving, hot air around it. It works a lot like a convection oven. But the design of the “fryer” and the movement of the air results in a “crispier” outside much like you would get if you traditionally fried something in oil. The great thing about the Air Fryer is that they usually use very little or no oil at all! For instance, you can make some dry rub chicken wings or honey sriracha chicken wings in an Air Fryer. They come out super tender on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside. They taste just like they have been deep fried, but they weren’t and your waistline will thank you! You can also make all sorts of desserts in the Air Fryer as well.

Air Fryer French Toast
But, sometimes, I just want to see how a classic dish tastes in the Air Fryer even though it may not be any healthier for you. This is what brought me to these Air Fryer French Toast Sticks. Sure, we aren’t frying them in a pan with oil and butter, so we are probably saving some calories with that, but I’m not going to try to convince you that this is a healthy dish. It’s not. But it is delicious! And it is super quick and easy to make.
After spending some time yesterday experimenting with this Air Fryer French Toast Sticks Recipe, I actually woke up this morning (on a school morning) and made these for my kids. If your family is like ours, you know that the mornings before school can get a little hectic. I was able to make these (without any prep work the night before) and we easily had time to eat them and do everything else before the bus came.
The kids loved them. I really like how I made them Air Fried French Toast Sticks and not just plain Air Fried French Toast. Having them cut into sticks made them a lot easier to eat for little hands. They were not nearly as messy as I thought they’d be for my kids. They can just pick up the French Toast Stick and dip it in the syrup. There was very little wiping of hands and faces after breakfast. That amazes me!
